Fantastic show from start to finish
The pretenders’ performance was top notch from from start to finish. A mix of new songs and old favorites kept the audience on their feet the entire show. They came out for two encores to complete a solid set list. Looking forward to them returning soon.

The Pretenders rocked it!
The Pretenders did not disappoint. What a fantastic show. It’s been 24 years since I saw them perform live, and Chrissy Hynde still sounds amazing! I hope they come back. The Louisville Palace was the perfect venue!

Chrissie's Voice Is Still In Top Form!!!!
The Pretenders were AMAZING!! Between Chrissies' amazing voice, James Walbournes' incredible guitar playing and Martin Chambers' fierce drumming, the show was a dream come true for any hardcore Prentenders fan!! We were treated to songs from the "Alone" album the "Break Up The Concrete" album, Chrissies' solo "Stockholm" album as well as all of the Pretenders classics. The Rails (Kami Thompson and James Walbourne), opened the show and they were absolutely AMAZING!! I'm now a huge fan of The Rails. If you have an opportunity to see either the Pretenders or The Rails, by all means go. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Chrissie is the goddess of rock!
Run to see Chrissie and the blokes while they are still out rocking. Great show, great venue, she and Martin Chambers are the best in the business!

Pretenders were awesome!
Great show at the iconic Ryman Auditorium. Chrissie Hynde is a bad ass woman with an attitude to match. She really put on a great performance with banter between audience and the band and absolutely great voice. Great guitarist James Walbourne and drummer Martin Chambers really showed up and made this a super show.

The Real Deal
Having seen the Pretenders in 1980, 1985 and 1990, Chrissie Hynde still has the amazing range and powerful vocals that made me a fan to begin with. The sound and lyrics of their entire set made for an exciting evening.
The Pretenders in Concert
The Pretenders cross the bridge between punk, new wave and pop music like no other band, with genre-defining songs like "I'll Stand By You," "Back On The Chain Gang" and "Don't Get Me Wrong." The band has sold over 25 million albums and founder & leader Chrissie Hynde is one of contemporary music's greatest songwriters. Chrissie's 2015 memoir Reckless: My Life As a Pretender, was hailed by the New York Times upon its release as "honest and distinctive... a love letter to rock and roll." After delivering 2016's unflinchingly head-strong Alone album (produced by the Black Keys' Dan Auerbach), the Pretenders continue to tour worldwide.
The Pretenders on Tour
The Pretenders are set for an extensive North American tour in 2020 with Journey to feature all new production and hits from start to finish in the 60+ date tour. Fans can expect to hear iconic classics from The Pretenders and Journey.
