THE MACHINE IN CONCERT:
As one of America's oldest Pink Floyd tribute bands, the Machine have spent more than 25 years honing their craft, and it's paid off -- Spin magazine confirms that they sound "exactly like Pink Floyd." Combining elaborate stage design, a state-of-the-art light and laser show, and end-to-end performances of seminal albums like Dark Side of the Moon, the band faithfully recreates Pink Floyd's legendary live shows in painstakingly brilliant detail. Fans looking for a dose of the Floyd are sure to be "Comfortably Numb" as they soak in the Machine's epic performances on their 2014 tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in the late-'80s, New York-based the Machine arose out of its members' desire to pay homage to their idols in Pink Floyd. Over their years, their dedication and hard work saw them graduate from small bars and clubs to sold-out shows around the world, including festivals like Bonnaroo and Germany's Rock of Ages. With a knowledge of Pink Floyd's catalog that rivals that of the most rigorous Floyd historian, the Machine is known for playing the Floyd's classic hits alongside obscure cuts from darkest corners of their expansive discography. Back on tour in 2014, the band will once again recreate the legendary band's epic stage show with elaborate set designs, state-of-the-art audiovisuals, and marathon sets.
