ONE LINER MADNESS is a Time Out Critics' Pick show that travels the country to find the best joke writer in every city.
64 NYC comedians will go head-to-head in a bracket-style, single-elimination, one-liner joke contest. Audience applause determines which performers advance, and who ultimately becomes the 2025 ONE LINER MADNESS CHAMPION and winner of the trophy and cash prize. It's like a March Madness tournament, but only 100 minutes, and with jokes instead of basketball games.
One Liner Madness originated in Brooklyn, and this is its 8th annual show. Proceeds (after paying top comics) go to Shelter Chic Animal Rescue.
