Kidz Bop concert = ok
My two girls weren’t exactly thrilled about their first concert ever, which was a bit disappointing for me, to say the least. If it wasn’t for the atmosphere, it probably would have been a total flop. They concert itself could have been a little longer and it would have been nice had they played an assortment of music from all of their CD’s, rather than just a couple.

We love Kidzbob and have attended for several years. Unfortunately due to the extreme weather conditions this year we were not able to attend the event... :(

Kids loved the show but no visual entertainment.
This is our second Kidz Bop Concert. My girls always have a great time but of course for us parents, it's a bit of a snoozer especially this years concert at Huntington Bank Northerly Island's venue in Chicago. Our first time at a Kidz Bop concert was at a nice indoor facility in Rockford. My girls enjoyed it and us parents enjoyed it a little more then this recent outdoor concert (could be the a/c and the comfy seats). As everyone stated, this concert was delayed for a loooong time. The 4:00 show became a 7:15 show and the show was done in a blink of an eye. Didn't feel like a complete concert since they shorten the performance time. We spent more time (3+ hours) looking at Lake Michigan and sitting in our car (hot humid and rainy) than we did watching the concert. As for the Kidz Bop concert itself... the good: The Kidz performed and sang pretty well, the songs got all the little kids dancing in the aisles and the Northerly Island staff were organized, helpful and very nice. the bad: The people who put this concert together seemed to have done the absolute MINIMUM for the visual entertainment. It was a very plain stage set-up/props, a few painted steps and some colored boxy things. In addition, Northerly Island has two giant screens on either side of the stage but Kidz Bop didn't use them, instead they used their own portable version which looked to be about 1/3 the size of the Northerly Island ones. Only 4 of the 6(?) Kidz were here. And the souvenirs were expensive (yikes, I spent $70 for one t-shirt, one baseball cap and a small poster). Overall since my girls love the Kidz Bop, I will still take them to their concert but it needs to be at an indoor facility to avoid weather delays, the heat, the rain, better seats, a/c and no port a potties). So Kidz Bop, please plan your next concert in the Chicago area at a indoor venue and don't make the stage look so boring.

fun for the kids
As an adult attending the show, it was boring and awful. But I had a blast watching my kids have so much fun. They were running up to the stage, giving the performers high-fives, etc. I did think the merchandise was very expensive. The venue ran out of food, some of it before the show even started. They ran out of popcorn, cotton candy.

Show was great, the wait was not
Chicago was our nearest show so we drove 3 hours to see this concert. It was on a Sunday but it was supposed to start at 4 so we knew we could get home at a decent hour. We pull on to Lake Shore Dr and see a sign that says “Concert Postponed Until 6pm” Some sort of notification or heads up would have been very helpful. After all was said and done the concert didn’t start until after 7 o’clock. My friend and I didn’t get our kids home until after midnight. The show itself was wonderful, it was actually the second time my daughters and I have seen Kidz Bop. It was just very disappointing to have such a long delay with zero notification.

Show was cut short due to weather, but the kids really got into it. Wish they would have kept the main center row clear, but other than that it was a great time!

Kidz Bop
Although my daughter had the time of her life, I was disappointed the show was so short.

Kidzbop show was amateur
This was a terrible show. Aside from the unnecessary delay in the start time, I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the show. The stage set/design/decor was poor for a show that is advertised as a professional concert. The sound quality was poor. I was unimpressed with the performers/singers. I question whether they were actually singing. I would never recommend this show to anyone. And to go thru all of this trouble get to this location for a 60 minute show was also ridiculous. It seemed more like a park district event but at the cost of a professional concert.

Rain delay - shorten show
We were not notified until an hour before the show that it would be delayed three hours. We had two small children and no place to go. Show was supposed to start at 6:45 (Delayed time) I didn't actually start till 7:05. They shorten the show by 20 minutes. We paid $245.00, for a 60 minute show which was supposed to be 90. Had a three hour delay extremely hot with a three and five-year-old
