KADAVAR IN CONCERT:
Fans of heavy-hitting hard rock bands like Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin have a new hero in Berlin-based rockers Kadavar. Combining '70s-inspired guitar shredding, heavy drums, and catchy psych-rock vocals, the band pays tribute to their classic rock idols with their deliciously vintage sound and pitch-perfect retro style. That's not to say their music is all about the past -- Kadavar keeps things decidedly modern with creative song structures, contemporary production techniques, and bone-rattling performances on their thumping tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
German hard rockers Kadavar formed in Berlin and made their self-titled album debut in 2012. Their expertly crafted sound and intense live shows quickly earned them a cult following, resulting in shows throughout Europe. In 2013 they released their sophomore album Abra Kadavar, a muscular collection of classic rock-inspired gems that was produced and mixed by the band's drummer Tiger in his home studio. Another round of high-octane shows followed, and in 2014 the band's formidable live chops were showcased on the double LP Live in Antwerp. A rising new act with performance skills that belie their recent arrival on the rock scene, Kadavar has fans eagerly awaiting their future tour dates.
