Another amazing show
I do not know why, but it seems like Govt Mule always puts on a great show in Huntsville. The intensity level of their shows in great. To catch Warren signing "Come and Go Blues" and then go into "Dreams" was off the scale. A great night of music and a great crowd.

What a waste
The sound engineers were horrible. The keyboards couldn't be heard. I left 30 minutes in. Don't waste your time or money. Extremely disappointed.

They need a new sound engineer.
I’m a big fan of Mule and Warren Haynes. Their music is outstanding, when it’s produced properly. This is the second time I’ve seen Mule at the Saenger Theatre, and both times the sound quality has been horrendous. Vocals are muddled. Guitar is muted and dead. Drums and organ combine into a horrible mid range mess. Either their sound engineer is deaf, or this theatre’s sound system is jacked. See them elsewhere. The opening act sounded equally awful, even though I KNOW Black Stone Cherry has amazing musicians.

Black Stone Cherry ROCKED!
Great venue even though I was on in the venue for approximately an hour. Black Stone Cherry was the opening act for Govt Mule, and only given 30 mins to perform. I left right after the Black Stone Cherry set.

Gov't Mule was awesome
Great show! Seen them many times, another killer show. Black Stone Cherry opened for them and also rocked the house!

Tightest touring band
Warren and crew never cease to amaze. Warren is so great to the bands he takes out on the road with Mule. A true class act. Danny Louis is the MVP of this show. He really brings different colors to the music with his instruments.

Gov’t Mule was great
5 stars for Gov’t Mule. 1 star for Black Stone Cherry sound guy who apparently doesn’t know the difference between a concert hall and an outdoor stadium. It was painfully loud. The band might be great? But who would know if they sound like a jet engine during takeoff.

Fantastic concert
This concert was absolutely fantastic. If you get a chance to see Government Mule on this concert tour, don’t pass it up!

Gov’t Mule is always awesome!
Gov’t Mule is a band that should not be missed by anyone! Warren Haynes is amazing!
Gov’t Mule stormed the jam band scene in 1994 with a bluesy blend of Southern rock. Guitarist Warren Haynes and bassist Allen Woody originally formed the band as a side project of the Allman Brothers Band. Gov’t Mule's music is defined by its noodling blues-rock jams and Parliament-funk freak-outs. The band’s concerts and tours bring to mind legendary 1960s acts like Cream, Grateful Dead, the Jimi Hendrix Experience and Little Feat. Gov’t Mule have been a staple on the summer festival scene since their inception, entertaining college kids and older hippies alike. The mid-1990s represented the height of the jam band circuit, but while other contemporary bands faded away, Gov’t Mule kept on trucking. For the past two decades, Gov’t Mule has been entertaining ticket buyers with good old-fashioned Southern rock and roll, with songs and set lists that seem to rise, swell and go on for hours. Today, Gov’t Mule are one of the last pillars of the jam band scene.
In 2013, Gov’t Mule released the double-album, Shout!, their first LP in four years. Gov’t Mule is always trying to do new things and push the creative envelope, and Shout!'s first disc is entirely new material, while the second disc is comprised of cover versions of the first album's tracks, featuring collaborations with high-profile musicians like Elvis Costello, Ben Harper, Dave Matthews and Steve Winwood. Gov’t Mule has released nine studio albums and several live discs. The band scored its highest chart release with 2006's High & Mighty, which peaked at No. 3 on the U.S. Indie Chart. Gov’t Mule is currently in the midst of the Time to Shout Tour, and fans know the band will be jamming long into 2014 and beyond.
