ERIC PASLAY IN CONCERT:
Lone Star State country singer and songwriter Eric Paslay has made a Texas-sized name for himself in the span of just a few short years. In addition to penning three country No. 1's for other artists between 2011-12, Paslay released his self-titled debut album to a No. 4 spot on the Top Country Albums chart in 2014. At his rollicking live shows, Paslay performs the entire album alongside the chart-toppers he's written for other artists as well as classic rock covers, all adding up to one heck of a satisfying experience for fans lucky enough to score a ticket.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Texas-born Eric Paslay began playing guitar at age 15, honing a songwriting style inspired by oldies and artists like Rich Mullins and Rodney Crowell. After receiving his BS at Middle Tennessee State University, Paslay abandoned his plans of becoming a pediatric endocrinologist in favor of a move to Nashville, where he landed a publishing deal. Settling in, he penned No. 1 hits for Jake Owens and Love & Theft, rounding out his experience with stints on the road opening for bands like Little Big Town and the Eli Young Band. His talents as a songwriter and time on the road provided him with plenty of experience and fodder for his self-titled 2014 debut album, a No. 4 hit on the Top Country Albums chart.
