Malaysian-Chinese singer-songwriter Eric Moo formed his first band in high school and has been in the spotlight ever since. He released his first Cantonese crossover album in 1989, and released a few more in the mid-90s at the height of his success, but mostly stuck to the mandopop market, eventually moving to Taiwan. In 2006, he shifted his focus to the mainland Chinese market, giving his songs an even broader regional appeal.
