Great music, terrible setup

The musical performances were outstanding (can anyone say "Cardi B"?), but the setup of the venue was horrendous. It took an hour to get in, with a security line that was intentionally held up multiple times with no explanation (and seemingly no logical reason). Then the food and drink lines were just as long. Who wants to wait an hour for overpriced fried cauliflower and lemonade? The venue change may have allowed for a much bigger crowd than in the past, but the overall experience made me regret going. Too expensive to face such a poor vending experience. Thank goodness the musical acts didn't let us down. Everybody that I wanted to see was amazing and that alone would be the only reason I'd even remotely consider a return.

Miguel was amazing !

This years BCF was decent. In terms of crowed control it was pretty unorganized. I was pleased with how they handled Ticket Master’s server being down. I didn’t have to do too much to prove I bought a ticket. Once I got into the venue I was never told that I would need a wrist band to purchase alcohol. After waiting in line for 20 minutes the cashier refused to take my ID because of their wrist band policy. I think BCF could have handled that a little better. The lines for food were way too unorganized. I waited an hour for a slice of pizza. They either need more vendors or a better system. No one should have to wait that long for a single slice of pizza. The performers were great I got there just in time for Daniel Ceaser and stayed through Miguel. Cardi B was a disappointment because her set was all of ten minutes and you could tell she was tired. She should have decided to take a break from performing before this event. Miguel was a crowed favorite. I never knew he was such an energetic performer. I loved every minute of his set. Overall it was a good time. The only thing I would change is the amount of vendors to give people more options and reduce the size of lines.

Terrible - Never Going Back

It was unbelievably disorganized. I missed most of the shows in line - waiting to get in, waiting to get food etc. It was NOT designed to handle the capacity at all and was a complete mess. The mic went out during the main/last performance (Migos) and the vendors actually ran out of food. Many people said no one even scanned their tickets or checked bags for weapons. Very poorly executed. It was my first time going and certainly my last.

Great Lineup but everything else needs some work.

Honest opinion. I flew from a long distance for this and I don’t think that I got my monies worth. This event should have been more organized and I don’t feel that were prepared for the number of people that they had. Entry lines were a mob of people pushing you in because there was zero structure. If you wanted food you would have to wait in line for over an hour then another 30 to get it. Even the water lines were ridiculous. Trash area was overflowing with trash which left it all over the ground (so much for the environment). Even the description of what you could bring was unclear. The website said no chairs and large bags, hence I didn’t bring. I get there and it’s chairs and bags everywhere! In addition to that, although the lineup was super cool, the flow of it was terrible. Middle of day and Daniel Ceasar and HER don’t mix. I was bored out my mind!!! A better flow or crunk in the day and mild in the evenings (toward the wind down) would be a better flow. Again.. great lineup!

The event was very unorganized. Y’all need to take more time in organizing the event.

Great Event!!!

This was my first time attending Broccoli City Festival and I don't regret it! For a relatively small price, there were many great artists performing. Aside from the music, there was great food, art, and other booths to enjoy. The festival had a great meaning behind it as well, it's all about helping the community and environment. The only downside was the lack of seating. There were a few benches but for a 10+ hour day with 30,000+ people, it would've been nice if there were more places to sit. Overall, I had a great time at this event and I will be attending again next year!

Performances were great....

My experience was tarnished by the long lines and standing in trash. There weren’t enough garbage cans so there was literally garbage everywhere. I feel like I spent the whole time in line. When we got there it took forever to even get in. Once we were inside the food lines were a nightmare. I couldn’t even get water without being in a ridiculously long line. I’ve never been to an event that was so unprepared for the amount of people they presold tickets to.

Miguel and Cardi B were amazing!!!!!!

Could use more trash cans, and better organized lines for the food vendors.
