Broccoli City Festival Tickets

More organization needed

Overall, I must admit I had an enjoyable time. However, it is not hard for me to really enjoy myself. The event was not well organized and could have improved significantly with just a little organization. The line to get in was roughly 45 minutes to an hour. However, after forcing this MASSIVE crowd through a gate and winding rows, it was completely OPEN which made me wonder what was the point of the congestion other than people having to wind through a maze for no reason at all. Once in the event, there was a line to get a wrist band which took roughly 30 minutes to get through. Another 45 minutes to get a drink and (no joke) 2.5 hours to get food (only to get to the front and they ran out). I literally spent the bulk of the festival in line. The medic station in my opinion was not well placed. There were multiple people fainting and people had to carry them a good distance to get to the medic station. I suggest for future events, have multiple stations and have them closer to the main events. I literally saw roughly 7 or 8 people that fainted at this event. And heard there were many more. The list of prohibited items was very constricting and not conducive to a festival style event. The prohibited umbrellas to an outside event on a day where it is forecast to rain makes no sense. Although, I did see a few people with umbrellas, I also witnessed someone forced to throw theirs away at the gate. Prohibiting food when the vendors were unable to accommodate the massive crowd. And an all day event with no option to leave just made the day a little more difficult. On another note, the performances were great. I loved the Broccoli City wall and art. The food vendors provided a great variety (although I was unable to enjoy any of them). And the event was well worth the money I spent. If I return, I will definitely upgrade to the VIP section and hopefully a lot of these issues will not be a factor.

EXCELLENT Event, Venue...meh...

I had a blast at the event. The set up and vendor choices were amazing. The artists were great. I just wish they had a venue with more grass to sit on or at least more areas to sit.

For the CULTURE!!!!

Broccoli City Festival was amazing!! The venue setup was nice. The artist lineup was phenomenal. All of the artist gave memorial performances and did not disappoint the crowd. This was my first time attending this event and it would not be the last.

So Much Potential

The line-up was great! the logistics of the event were awful. There was nearly no crowd control upon entry. Security check was way below expectation. The set up should have consisted of more seating on the outskirts of the stage area, scattered sections of portable restrooms, at least double the amount of lines for ID Check/Alcohol purchase, and at least 3 areas for food vendors, with at least 3 lines per vendor. The event should have allowed for lawn chairs to be permitted with a certain ticket purchase/wristband. Those people should have had a designated section, not to obscure other patrons, and still enjoy the show comfortably (some people have health issues, but would like to enjoy the event). There were not nearly enough trash receptacles, people trying to clean during the event or activities to enjoy between performers. Unless the line-ups to come are stellar, I wouldn't need to return to Broccoli City.

Broccoli fail

I’ve been to broccoli fest in the past but this time around things were just disorganized and I will never go again. It was filthy, too many people, lines were too long to even get water. People throwing up and passing out everywhere. Artists late to work their set time. It was just too much !

bad infrastructure

the venue and security was sad. so many people got in for free because there was no organization. not fair to others. hire more people so we don’t spend half of our time in line. more trash cans would be nice.

This event was a great time for me and all of my friends that attended. Highly Recommended!

Loved it!!

All the acts were amazing!!! Bar tenders hardly put liquor in your mixed drink which was wack.

Broccoli was frozen, NOT FRESH!

The venue was horrible. The set up for ticket retrieval was HORRIBLE. The lines were horrible. It was 30,000 people and they simply were not prepared. The check id band distribution for beer and wine should have been at ticket check in. There were so many useless lines, for NOTHING. The best part about it was that Turning Natural food truck was vending. My spinach patty and chill pill smoothie were the BOMB!
