TVBOO Live in Concert
Mitch Draper, known as TVBOO, is from Jackson, Mississippi, and was born on November 12, 1995. He currently lives in Denver, Colorado.
TVBOO's musical endeavors began in the world of metal. His brother introduced him to bands like Korn, blink-182, System of a Down and others which got him interested in music, and he started playing drums for local metal bands in the area. When he was 17, he went to a Bassnectar event, discovered EDM, and was hooked. He put the drums away and picked up a DJ console.
Initially, he tried emulating the serious demeanors of well-known performers in his genre, but it wasn't working. He says he struggled to find his identity until he decided to be himself. In an interview with MP3 MAG, he says "It doesn't matter who you are; everybody has something that makes them unique, right? When you're being yourself, you're in your own lane."
TVBOO has created a niche for himself that has expanded the reach of EDM.
