What are the general rules of Somerset House?
Our gigs are open-air and go ahead come rain or shine, so please come prepared! The audience area is not covered. There is no fixed seating in the courtyard and all tickets are standing only. Somerset House events are fully inclusive safe spaces for any person to participate and enjoy without fear of feeling marginalised, unrepresented or unwelcome. By entering these spaces, you agree to respect any body, attire, gender, sexual orientation, race, belief and experience that are not your own. We also expect the same courtesy to be afforded to you. There's no age restriction for Somerset House Summer Series, but everyone attending requires a ticket and we do not recommend bringing young children. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult and we recommend that children should be encouraged to wear ear protection. Somerset House operates Challenge 25. If you appear to be under 25 you will be asked for proof of age when purchasing alcohol and may be refused if you do not have the appropriate photographic ID to hand. Patrons cannot bring food, alcohol, cans, glass, aerosols or any item that could be used as a weapon (including sharp or pointed objects). If you do bring such items with you they will be confiscated by a member of our team and you may be refused entry. Empty refillable plastic bottles sized 1000 ml or less are allowed on site. Please note that metal or glass bottles are not permitted. Water refill stations are available across the site. Please note that this is a cashless event.
