Audiences across the country looking for a fun-loving experience set to a funky backbeat should be sure to catch RDGLDGRN wherever they bring their feel-good tunes on tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
With the title of their 2011 debut single “I Love Lamp” — taken from a line uttered by Steve Carrell’s character in the movie Anchor Man — RDGLDGRN let listeners know to expect a good time right off the bat. Vocalist Green (Pierre Desrosiers), bassist Gold (Andrei Busuioceanu), and guitarist Red (Marcus Parham) were an instant Washington D.C. favorite with their rocking take on the homegrown go-go style. Their catchy sound soon earned them some high profile collaborators -- while they were laying down their self-titled debut album in 2012, Dave Grohl offered his drumming skills and Pharrell Williams pitched in by co-writing the song “Doing the Most”. Following the album’s release, the group made their national TV debut on a 2013 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. They gained even more exposure a year later when they appeared in Grohl’s documentary series Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways. RDGLDGRN continues to explore their exuberant sound both in the studio and on tour, pumping up audiences every step of the way.
